Lynsey Wheeler
Office Manager/Clinical Coordinator
Lynsey grew up outside of Charlottesville, Virginia and attended West Virginia University for Aerospace Engineering. After a long stint at a telecommunications company in VA and a time at the patent office, she took a break from the corporate life to visit Telluride in 2017 for the Bluegrass Festival with her sights on San Diego to continue in tech but never left the box canyon (who would?!). Lynsey started with TCD in October 2021 at the front desk, transitioned to Lead Dental Assistant, and now is the Office Manager and Treatment Coordinator.
MaKenzie Bauman
Front Desk
Makenzie is originally from Ripon, Wisconsin. She started at our office in July 2023 with previous dental office experience from her time in Denver. She is a musician on the side and our photographer extraordinaire!
Kathryn Sparacino
Front Desk
Kathryn landed in Telluride on a road trip from North Carolina to Oregon in the fall of 1993. Her love affair with the San Juan Mountains was born at that time and she has been exploring the Western Slope and nearby deserts ever since. After spending her thirties on Maui, she resettled in Telluride, married, and continues to hike and ski as much as she can. She rejoined our practice after a brief sabbatical in February 2024. Outside of the dentist office you can find her doing something outside, writing for local magazines, and spending time with her cats.
Mel Sloan, RDH
Hygienist
Mel grew up in St. Louis, MO and studied Environmental Science/Geography at Oregon State. She moved to Telluride in October 2013 and had an amazing hygienist in Norwood who inspired her to enter the field. Since June 2021 we have had the pleasure of having her on our hygiene team!
Heidi Weaver, RDH
Hygienist
Heidi grew up in Tacoma, WA and was a cosmetologist / esthetician before going to hygiene school in 2001. She first moved to Telluride in 2005 and started in this very practice after covering for another hygienist on maternity leave. Heidi has been with Dr. Grady since he took over the practice in 2009!
Lori Ann Thompson, RDH
Hygienist
Lori Ann joined our practice part-time in October 2024. She is an Air Force brat and has lived all over Europe and the US. She has been in the area sine 2000 and is currently splitting time between Ouray, Idaho, and Utah. She has a love for her work and has been fortunate enough to volunteer her time at a dental clinic in Nicaragua.
Ashley Considine
Assistant
Ashley is originally from Massachusetts and has been a cosmetologist for 11 years. She moved to Rico in 2023 and worked at a salon in town. She joined our practice in December 2024.
Alicia Webb
Assistant
Alicia joined our practice in August 2024. She is originally from Virginia and has her bachelors in literature. She is an experienced EMT and Ski Patroler!
Madelyn Wild
Lead Dental Assistant
Madelyn grew up in Baton Rouge, LA. She visited her family in Telluride in the summers and knew she wanted to live here one day. In 2019 she made the move and has learned how to ski, paddleboard, and camp. Madelyn started with TCD as an assistant in July 2022 and has worked at the front desk.
